For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. I dwell with you as a foreigner, a stranger, as all my ancestors were.

So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place.

I will strengthen Judah and save the tribes of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them. They will be as though I had not rejected them, for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them.

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
