Interpretation of the Bible / Psalm 145:18
This verse is a reminder that God is always present and available to us. He is not far away or separate from us, but near and accessible. Whenever we need His help, we can call upon Him and He will hear us.
Today, many of us are faced with problems and worries. Sometimes it may feel like there is no one to turn to. However, this verse reminds us that we are not alone. Even in our darkest moments, God is always there to support and help us.
The word “call” means “to call for help or to ask for help”. Therefore, to receive His nearness, we need to seek Him and ask Him from a pure heart. It is not enough to say a superficial prayer; we need to approach God sincerely and humbly.
This verse also tells us about the love and mercy of God. He does not wait for us to be perfect before we come to Him. He invites us to come as we are, with our imperfections and weaknesses. God loves us unconditionally and wants to help us overcome any difficulties.
As Christians, we can apply this verse in our daily lives in many ways. We can begin to call upon God more often, asking Him for guidance and strength. We can trust His love and closeness in times of pain or uncertainty. We can turn to Him for help to overcome any difficult situation in our lives.
