And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.
Hebrews 11:11 is a verse that is meaningful to those who believe in God’s Word and His message. According to this verse, Sarah, Abraham’s wife, who was barren, was able to conceive and give birth through her faith. Even though she was past the age of childbearing, she believed that God would keep His promise.
Sarah’s faith is an example of how faith in God can overcome any obstacle. Even in a society where barrenness was considered a vice, Sarah never stopped believing in God’s promise. She remained faithful even in times of uncertainty and through her faith, she was given the strength to conceive.
