Interpretation of the Bible / Ecclesiastes 4:4
This verse invites us to reflect on our feelings towards others and to realize that envy leads us only to vanity and brokenness of spirit. We must learn to appreciate our own abilities and achievements, without constantly comparing ourselves to others.
Moreover, this verse encourages us to be compassionate towards others and not to envy their successes and achievements. We should rejoice in the happiness and success of others and support each other in our projects and dreams. In this way, we can build a more just, harmonious and equal society.
Realizing that human activity and skills are driven by the desire to occupy a higher position than other people. Solomon saw that the wheel of life turns thanks to envy and the spirit of rivalry.
The desire to have a better house and finer clothes - all this seemed so empty and unworthy of a person created in the image and likeness of God.
