Interpretation of the Bible / 1 Peter 2:21
The Apostle Peter was speaking to new Christians, reminding them that Christ suffered for us and that we too should be willing to suffer for our faith. He says that Jesus is our example and that we should follow in His footsteps. This means that we should live according to the principles that Christ taught and that we should do everything possible to live without sin and do good.
Christ suffered for us
The fact that Christ suffered for us means that He chose to suffer and die for our redemption. He loved us so much that He was willing to do anything for us, even if it meant suffering and dying on the cross. His sacrifice made salvation and eternal life possible for those who believe in Him.
Christ our example
Jesus is the perfect example of how we should live. He always did what was right and loved everyone who crossed His path. He never sinned and always submitted to the will of God. If we want to live according to God's will, then we must follow the example of Jesus and live the same way.
