Interpretation of the Bible / 1 Timothy 6:17
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
Verse 1 Timothy 6:17 teaches us that the rich in this world are commanded not to be high-minded or to put their hope in riches, because they are unreliable and transitory. Instead, they are encouraged to trust in God, who is the only one who can provide us with everything we need, and to enjoy His blessings.
