Interpretation of the Bible / John 6:29

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

God’s Word is rich in teachings and gives us many answers to our spiritual questions. In John 6:29, Jesus shows us the work God expects us to do: believe in the One He has sent. This verse is fundamental to our search for truth and understanding God’s purpose for our lives.

Believing in the One God has sent means that we trust Jesus Christ, the Son of God, sent by the Father to save us from sin and death. This is not something we can do on our own, but is a gift from God to those who receive Christ as their Savior and Lord.
