Interpretation of the Bible / Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
The Christian life is not easy, and the journey of faith can be full of trials and tribulations. But the good news is that these afflictions are temporary. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 8:18 that the sufferings of this present time cannot be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us.
What does this mean?
Paul is saying that even though we may face difficulties in our daily lives, we will eventually be rewarded for our faith. The glory that will come is in heaven, where we will reign with Christ forever. Eternal life in the presence of God is incomparably better than anything we can experience in this life, no matter how difficult it may be.
