I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.
In Genesis 9:11, God promises Noah that He will never again destroy the earth with a flood. Through this covenant, God demonstrates His love and mercy for humanity. This means that even if people sin and turn away from God, He will never abandon us or destroy us forever.
