SVG In Christ

Interpretation of the Bible / 2 Timothy 1:9

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.

In 2 Timothy 1:9, the apostle Paul tells us about God’s calling of us as a people. God has saved us, and we are called by His grace, not by our meritorious works, and this was established in Jesus Christ before the ages of ages forever.

Salvation by grace

It is important to emphasize that our salvation is not dependent on our own works, but on the grace of God. As humans, we make mistakes and sin, but it is through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross that we can receive the salvation that God offers us freely and unconditionally.

God’s purpose

God’s call to us shows us His purpose for our lives. God has a plan for each of us, a mission to fulfill in this world. When we accept His call and submit to Him, we give ourselves the opportunity to live life to the fullest and experience His will. The divine call leads us to fulfill our purpose in life and to fulfill the plans God has for us.

The grace of God in Christ Jesus

It is by the grace of God that we can achieve salvation and divine purpose in our lives. The grace of God means that we do not have to do anything to earn His love or favor.

He gives us His grace through Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and saved us from eternal death. In Jesus we find the grace we need to live our lives and fulfill our calling.
