Philippians 2:5 encourages us to have the same mindset that was in Christ Jesus. Feelings are qualities that originate deep within our being and guide us in our decisions and actions. So it’s important to make sure that our feelings are correct, especially if we want to follow the example of Jesus Christ.

The example of Christ Jesus

This verse mentions the feeling that was in Christ Jesus, which encourages us to reflect on His example. He is our mentor and role model. He lived on earth as a man and faced the same temptations and problems that we face, but His example was perfect in every way. We can learn a lot about how to live our lives from His life and teachings.

Our relationship with God

The feeling of Christ Jesus also reminds us of our relationship with God. He came to earth to do the will of the Father and give His life for us. By following His example, we too draw closer to God and are able to make decisions that are pleasing to Him. We can also be confident that God is with us every step of the way.
