Interpretation of the Bible / Luke 1:35

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”

In this Bible verse, we see the angel Gabriel appearing to Mary to tell her that she will give birth to the Son of God. Furthermore, we are told how this momentous event will unfold. The angel tells Mary that the Holy Spirit will descend upon her and the power of the Most High will overshadow her.
