Interpretation of the Bible / Genesis 3:21

The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

The Bible tells us that God created man and woman in His own image and likeness. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve lived in perfect harmony with God and enjoyed His divine presence. However, through the serpent's deception, Adam and Eve sinned against God by eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Immediately afterward, they realized their nakedness and sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.

In His mercy, God made garments of skin for Adam and Eve and clothed them. This divine gesture is one of the first examples of God's grace toward His fallen creation. Even though Adam and Eve sinned, God still loved them and sought a way to cover their nakedness and shame. This act of love also demonstrates God's care and concern for the well-being of humanity.
