What is the fruit of the Spirit?
The fruit of the Spirit is a term used to describe the characteristics that a Christian should exhibit in his or her life as a result of the Holy Spirit’s presence in his or her life. It consists of nine qualities: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control.
Goodness, justice, and truth
Ephesians 5:9 says that the fruit of the Spirit is all goodness, justice, and truth. Kindness is a quality that involves being kind, generous, compassionate, and helpful to others. Justice refers to being fair and equal in our dealings with others. Truth refers to being honest, fair, and true.
