Interpretation of the Bible / Luke 1:30-31
But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.”
Luke 1:30 tells us of the moment when the angel Gabriel appears to Mary and announces that she will be the mother of the Savior. This verse shows us that Mary received God's grace and that the Lord's presence was with her.
According to Christian theology, God's grace is a free gift that provides forgiveness and eternal salvation. God's grace is demonstrated through God's love for His children, no matter how sinful they are. God's grace is not dependent on our works, but on His mercy.
