Psalm 27:1 is a verse well known to many believers for its message of safety and protection in God. The psalmist David expresses his faith and trust in the Lord's light and salvation. The Lord is my light

The Lord is the stronghold of my life

Stronghold is an image of power and protection. In this verse, the psalmist David understands that God is the true strength of his life. In life, we face many situations that make us feel weak and helpless, but by trusting in God, we can find the strength and protection we need to overcome any difficulty.
