The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
2 Chronicles 15:2 is a call to loyalty and perseverance. Asa, the king of Judah, meets Azariah, a prophet who instructs him on how God works with his people. The premise is simple: If we seek God, He will be with us. But if we forsake Him, He will forsake us.

The truth is that God never leaves us, but if we forsake Him, it is harder for us to feel His presence and hear His voice. This verse is a call to seek God, to stay close to Him, and not to leave in difficult times.
