Interpretation of the Bible / Proverbs 4:11
The Book of Proverbs is one of the books of the Bible that deals with the topic of divine wisdom. In chapter 4, verse 11, the author shows us how God leads us in the path of wisdom. Wisdom is a very valuable virtue for humans because it allows us to make good decisions and live more fulfilling and happy lives.
However, in today’s society, wisdom is often sought in earthly knowledge or human experience. But divine wisdom is much more complete and profound. Therefore, we must be willing to follow the path God has shown us in order to grow in this virtue.
Wisdom as the path to righteous living
This verse also shows us that God leads us “in straight paths.” This means that wisdom leads us in a straight and honest path. The society we live in makes us strive for success and wealth at any cost, even if it means acting dishonestly or harming others.
But the path of divine wisdom shows us a different perspective. He teaches us to value honesty, justice and love for our neighbor as the main virtues of our lives. By following these paths, we can find happiness and true success, which is measured not in material terms, but in spiritual terms.
