Interpretation of the Bible / Philippians 2:14-16a

Gossip is speaking evil of others behind their back, while debate is arguing with someone to argue for a different point of view. Both approaches can lead to conflict and hurt feelings between people. Therefore, the writer of Philippians encourages us to avoid these harmful attitudes.
