Interpretation of the Bible / Psalm 9:10

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

The Book of Psalms is one of the most poetic and profound books of the Bible. Its verses offer us various signs and instructions for our daily lives. One such instruction is found in Psalm 9:10.

Those who know Your name will trust in You

The first part of the verse speaks of trust. This is a very important concept in our spiritual life, as it helps us maintain faith and overcome difficulties. The author of the psalm indicates that those who know God's name, that is, those who are in communion with Him, can blindly trust in His power and His love.

For You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You

The second part of the verse exemplifies such trust. The author points out that God has never abandoned those who seek Him. In this sense, it is important to emphasize the importance of continually seeking God. While trusting God is an important step, we must also actively seek Him in our prayers, in our actions, and in everything we do.
