For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
2 Chronicles 30:9 invites us to turn to the Lord for mercy. Mercy is a very important theme in the Bible because it refers to the compassion and undeserved kindness that God gives us despite our mistakes and sins. In this sense, God is ready to forgive and provide help to all who turn to Him with a humble and repentant heart.
As humans, it is common for us to distance ourselves from God and forget His love and mercy. Sometimes we allow ourselves to be carried away by circumstances and difficulties and lose sight of the fact that God is always ready to extend His love and a helping hand to us. However, the good news is that at any moment we can turn to Him and experience His love and grace.
